Our trade-in guarantee:

No risk and the right violin for the next step

If you make progress in your violin playing, you often also place higher demands on your violin. It is also possible that after a while you want to play on a different violin. At ForteViolen it is possible to exchange the violin you previously bought from us for another violin from our range. We give you 100% of the original price. So you run no risk, on condition that the violin you trade in is in its original condition and you still have the original purchase receipt.

What is ‘original condition’?

Normal signs of use on the bridge, strings and fretboard are acceptable. If the violin has serious damage such as cracks, broken corners, serious damage to the paint, etc., the trade-in guarantee will not apply. We will charge 75 euros service costs for carrying out maintenance and setting up new strings.

Appraisal report/Certificate with the violins

The more expensive violins are often sold with a valuation report from a violin maker. You can use this to insure your instrument and this will give you confidence when choosing a violin. If the violin has been valued, this is indicated with the violin in question.

The new violins from Poland and the Czech Republic come with a certificate, so that you have the guarantee that they are original.

You are free to value violins yourself  that have not been valued before purchasing. The valuation  costs are then for your account.
