Intensive traces of use from good musicians reveal the excellent acoustic properties of this violin. Its beautiful, antique appearance is not only due to the soft, brown oil varnish on a gold ground. But also the beautiful wood; maple with a deep flame in the one-piece back and balanced grained spruce for the top. Also special is the very expertly carried out repair to the keyhole of the A string of the scroll (see photo). We provided the violin with new pegs, bridge and strings. The open sound is easy to speak to and has a deep, mature, rich color.
