Verhuurd

This antique German violin, probably made around 1850, is a beautiful example of fine German craftsmanship. The violin is characterized by its authentic, individual style, particularly evident in the flat arching, distinctive F-holes, and fine purfling . Another feature is the tasteful, deep reddish-brown varnish, whose iridescent color gives the high-quality tonewood an antique character. Not unusual for its age, the violin has several minor repairs and wear marks. Inside the violin is a label from Karl Winder (Weissenburg), who repaired the violin in 1891. The violin produces a warm, sweet, and rounded tone with good balance across the strings, making it ideal for advanced violinists who want to play an antique violin.
