Old German three-quarter violin
A beautiful old German violin made around 1900. The excellent craftsmanship is evident in the elegant, fine scroll and wide purfling. The wood used is of high quality, especially the even, finely flamed maple of the back. Also striking is the relatively flat curve of the front and back, which contributes to the powerful and mature sound. Except for some minor signs of wear—the violin has been played by many young musicians—the instrument is in excellent condition.
