This beautiful viola was built in 2016 by the Belgian violin maker Dirk Vermoesen from Brasschaat. The viola is built according to its own, individual model; relatively wide with an elegant arching. The length of the corpus is 40.2 cm and the total length is 66 cm. The one-piece back has an intriguing flame that is beautifully expressed in the tasteful red-brown-orange varnish on a golden background. A fine, evenly grained piece of spruce was used for the top. The instrument is suitable for both advanced amateurs and professional musicians and has good projection with a rich, clear and powerful sound.
