This magnificent master violin, built in the first half of the last century, is a fine example of craftsmanship from the Markneukirchen master tradition. The character of this violin, built after the Stradivari model, is defined by its fine construction: precisely cut sound holes, elegantly curved tops, and beautiful edgework. Perfectly fitting is the bright, radiant tone, whose volume offers musical possibilities for demanding soloists. The wood used has also been carefully selected and is of high quality. A balance of grained spruce for the top and deep, evenly flamed maple for the mirrored back. The luthier has imprinted his signature on the violin in the form of a brand mark (see photo), which we unfortunately cannot identify.
