This violin, made around 1900, likely originates from the renowned workshop of Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy. With its sharp purfling and characteristic transparent gold-orange varnish, it is a beautiful example of French craftsmanship. The violin has been optimally set up by the Amsterdam violin maker Bas Maas, from whom the violin was purchased in the past.
