This beautiful Stradivarius replica was made in Tilburg in 1899 by the renowned musical instruments company Kessels. The violin's label bears the number 1524, "Stradivarius replica." Between 1886 and 1955, Kessels produced not only violins but also woodwind instruments, pianos, and percussion instruments. These violins were likely made by German luthiers. This example is a beautiful replica of the classic Stradivarius model. The Stradivarius hallmarks are clearly visible in the characteristic shape of the F-holes and the elegant curves of the body. Due to slight damage to the varnish on the maple back, which has been re-glued at the seam in the past, the violin is offered at an attractive price.
