A beautiful, German violin from the early 1900s. The elegant shape of the top and bottom are striking. The violin is finely crafted. Noteworthy are the sharp, wide purfling and the deep reddish-brown varnish on a yellow base. Aside from some minor signs of wear in the varnish, the violin is in perfect condition. It has a dark, clear, and open sound (a sound clip is available at the bottom of this page).
