Saxon violin
Quality Saxon violin built in the 1960s. The violin was purchased in 1968 from the renowned Dutch violin maker Josef Vedral. The violin has a beautiful transparent orange-brown lacquer and is finely built, as can be seen by the sharp inlays. The back has a mild flaming, the top has a very regular, fine grain. The violin has a good projection and a clear, open sound (sound clip below).
