This attractive violin, built around 1930, is an example of fine craftsmanship, presumably from the Bohemia region. The character of this violin, made in the classic Stradivarius style, is defined by the bright orange-brown varnish, the precisely cut soundholes, fine scroll, and elegant arching. Also beautiful is the deep flame pattern in the one-piece maple back. The violin is fitted with new tuning pegs and bridge and has a clear, brilliant sound. A repaired small crack to the right of the tailpiece is included in the price. Suitable for both beginning and advanced violinists.
