The fascinating violin model of the classical Italian maestro Giovanni Paolo Maggini was copied by many craftsmen in the past decades, due to the beauty of the double purfling and the reduced winding of the scroll. The German "Maggini" violin offered here is a beautiful example; the delicate f-holes were cut in an oblique position, the scroll is finely cut and the deep flamed maple is of high quality. The most important feature of this violin is its excellent response and the exceptionally good sound, that is large, warm, radiant and full of character - highly recommended by our teacher that is offered with only some light traces in the lacquer, but is otherwise in very good condition (sound clip below).
