This authentic, hand-built German violin from the beginning of the last century has very graceful F-holes that match the elegant shape of the top. Also striking is the intriguing grain in the spruce top, which shows a so-called 'hazel' pattern in various places and is chosen by violin makers for its good acoustic properties. The mature, radiant sound has a lot of power and depth and the violin is very direct.
