Beautiful German violin built in the early 1900s. Beautiful wood is used for the violin; finely grained spruce for the top and deep flamed maple for the back. The soft gold-brown varnish shows beautiful patina at different places. Light spots of wear and signs of use show that this violin has been played a lot. The button on the back is remarkable where the brand of a Star of David can be seen. The violin has a radiant, warm and balanced sound (sound clip below).
