This violin stands out because of its beautiful transparent dark brown lacquer on a golden background. The paint plays with different shades where in some places the color has even discolored almost black over time. The violin is carefully built. This can be seen, among other things, in the finely cut curl and the inlay that is placed relatively close to the edge. The back is made of deeply flamed one-piece maple. The curvature of the blades is relatively high. Inside the violin is a facsimile label by Carlo Bergonzi. The origin of the violin is unknown to me. The lacquer may indicate Bohemian origin. The violin has a deep, dark, warm sound (see the sound clip below).
